Hanoi announces admission scores for public 10th grade

On the evening of July 4, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the exam scores and admission scores for grade 10 public high schools for the 2025-2026 school year.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Hanoi city has 122 public high schools, including 4 specialized schools and 119 non-specialized schools. The total enrollment target for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year of the schools is nearly 80,000 students.

A notable new point in this year's 10th grade entrance exam is the adjustment of the way the admission score is calculated. Instead of multiplying the coefficient by 2 for Math and Literature as in previous years, in 2025, the admission score will be the total score of 3 subjects (Math, Literature, Foreign Language), each subject is calculated on a 10-point scale and does not have a coefficient. This calculation method aims to ensure fairness between subjects and encourage students to study all subjects equally.

According to the plan of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, candidates will complete the admission confirmation procedure from 1:30 p.m. on July 10 to July 12. Candidates can confirm their admission directly (at the school where they wish to be admitted) or online, through the Hanoi City Primary Admissions Portal. Candidates access the address: https://tsdaucap.hanoi.gov.vn and follow the instructions.

For public high schools with financial autonomy, private schools, vocationaleducation - continuing education centers, vocational education institutions, successful candidates confirm their enrollment directly. Candidates need to contact the school to know the exact related regulations to proactively prepare complete documents.

If you are still concerned about your exam results, you need to file a review application. According to regulations, you should go to the school where you studied grade 9 to receive the review application form. You should submit your review application at the school where you studied grade 9. The time to submit your review application is from July 4 to July 10.
