Vice Chairwoman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha has just signed and issued a plan to install LED screens and loudspeaker systems to serve the celebration, parade, and march of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.
According to Hanoi, the installation of LED screen and loudspeaker systems aims to meet the needs of people and tourists to directly watch celebrations, parades, and marches at many locations in Hanoi.
At the same time, it aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, promote patriotism, national pride and contribute to reducing the pressure on people and vehicles concentrated in the central area of Ba Dinh Square.
Regarding the installation plan, Hanoi requires the LED screen system to be surveyed and arranged in key areas, including parade routes and at the gateways of the capital to serve people from the suburbs to the inner city and at the grassroots level.
Specifically, Hanoi will install 14 LED screens at 11 locations on 3 parade routes; 7 LED screens at 6 gateway points to the capital.
136 LED screens will be installed at public places arranged by local authorities. Priority will be given to using available facilities and screens at headquarters of agencies, cultural houses, schools, stadiums, etc.
According to the plan, Hanoi will also mobilize 127 LED screens currently in operation managed and operated by businesses in the city to broadcast promotional and communication content about the event.
Regarding implementation progress, the latest time to complete LED screen installation is before August 27, 2025; operation time is from August 28 to September 2, 2025.
Regarding the public address system, according to Hanoi, the entire public address system is equipped on a rental basis, with no requirement for reuse after the end of the task.
The loudspeaker system serves to broadcast content according to the organizing committee's script (commands, marching music, ceremonial music) synchronously along the entire parade route with a total expected length of about 10km.
The route is divided into 200 sections, each section is 30m - 50m apart and has 1 - 2 speakers, hung on electric poles or lighting poles 3.5 - 4.5m high, a total of about 400 speakers, ensuring even sound coverage.
Implementation funds are mobilized from the city budget, local government budgets and legal socialized sources.
