According to statistics from the Tax Department of Region XI, as of June 17, Ha Tinh's domestic budget revenue reached VND5,480 billion, reaching 76% of the estimate assigned by the Central Government, 62% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council and increasing by 31% over the same period. Of which, the total budget revenue of districts/towns/cities reached VND2,490 billion, reaching 73% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, increasing by 21% over the same period. The positive results were thanks to the close direction of local authorities and the drastic participation of the tax sector in revenue management in the first months of the year.

Mr. Ha Huy Hai - Head of the Department of Professional Affairs, Budgeting and Legal Affairs (Tax Department of Region XI) said: “After a long period of difficulties in land auctions due to the revised Land Law in 2024, in the first months of the year, localities have cleared up the obstacles. Thanks to the good implementation of planning, management and auction of land use rights, localities have focused on effectively exploiting land revenue and revenue from real estate transfers; thereby creating a bright spot in budget collection work”.
By area, the whole province has 9/12 districts, towns and cities that have achieved and exceeded 50% of the annual estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. Typically, some localities have maintained high revenue growth such as: Duc Tho, Hong Linh Town, Nghi Xuan, Thach Ha, Ky Anh Town, Huong Khe, Cam Xuyen...

As the locality with the highest revenue proportion in the province, up to this point, the Ha Tinh - Cam Xuyen Inter-District Tax Team has collected more than 674 billion VND for the budget. If land use fees are deducted, the Ha Tinh - Cam Xuyen Inter-District Tax Team has collected more than 327 billion VND in taxes and fees, an increase of 24% over the same period in 2024.
“This result is thanks to the close coordination between the tax sector and local authorities in proactively reviewing revenue sources, strengthening inspections to prevent revenue loss, handling tax arrears and accelerating land use fee collection. In the first months of the year, the unit focused on: collecting non- agricultural land use tax, business household tax, commune-level fees and charges, private housing construction tax, and out-of-province travel tax... to ensure uniform revenue increase across all taxes,” emphasized Mr. Le Hong Liem, Head of the Ha Tinh - Cam Xuyen Inter-District Tax Team.

Not only maintaining the revenue growth momentum in the district/town/city block, the structure of revenue sources also maintains a sustainable growth rate. Accordingly, 8/16 revenue items reached over 50% compared to the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council and 9/16 revenue items and taxes increased higher than the same period in 2024. In particular, some taxes increased sharply such as: Revenue from foreign-invested enterprises, personal income tax, non-state economic sector, land use fees, registration fees, fees, etc.
Mr. Tran Nghi - Deputy Head of the Tax Department of Region XI said: “In 2025, the tax sector will implement many innovations, reforms, and modernizations in tax management. This is a breakthrough that creates momentum for effective and sustainable budget collection. In addition, in the first months of the year, the department has simultaneously implemented solutions to combat tax losses, compensate for revenue shortfalls when implementing support policies, and is determined to complete the highest level of the State budget collection task in 2025. In particular, the unit focuses on promoting the fight against revenue losses in key areas and sectors; strengthening inspection, examination, and strict handling of violations and fraud in tax declaration and refund; urging the handling of tax arrears collection”.

Continuing the momentum of increasing revenue, at this time, the Tax Department of Region XI is proactively and synchronously implementing tax management solutions, along with effectively implementing topics and projects to prevent tax losses, in order to maintain a stable growth rate of budget revenue. In the second quarter, the department focuses on completing the business household database; standardizing tax code data; preventing tax losses in all areas... With many drastic and synchronous solutions, the tax sector is striving towards the goal of exceeding the domestic budget revenue estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council.
