Right from his first years at the Military Medical Academy, Long Nhat demonstrated his spirit of constant effort and determination to achieve high academic achievements. Not only stopping at acquiring theoretical knowledge, he also actively participated in academic competitions and won first prize at the National Mathematics Olympiad for students for two consecutive years (2023, 2024). Sharing about his learning process, Sergeant Nguyen Trong Long Nhat said: “I always clearly define my goals, practice self-awareness, discipline and seek effective learning methods. Every day in the lecture hall, in the classroom or when on duty on clinical shifts, I see it as an opportunity to improve my expertise and professional ethics.”

In addition to his outstanding academic achievements, Long Nhat also actively participates in scientific research. In 2024, he participated in the project "Research on some microscopic characteristics of tumor fields in colorectal cancer patients" - a project that was highly appreciated for its practicality and won third prize at the academy level.

For Long Nhat, studying and training in the Military Medical Academy environment is not only an honor but also an opportunity to realize his dream of becoming a dedicated military doctor, ready to go to difficult areas to take care of the health of soldiers and people. It is this spirit of dedication that has motivated him to overcome all difficulties, constantly strive and achieve many successes. For 3 consecutive years (2022, 2023, 2024), Long Nhat has achieved the title of Excellent Student and was awarded the title of Emulation Fighter at the Base. In September 2024, he continued to be honored to receive the Vallet scholarship, one of the prestigious scholarships for students with outstanding achievements. Also in 2024, Sergeant Nguyen Trong Long Nhat was awarded the title of Emulation Fighter of the Whole Army.

Despite having achieved many proud achievements in studying and scientific research, Long Nhat still strives to continue conquering new heights. "Every day studying and training at the Academy is a day of accumulating more knowledge and experience. No matter the circumstances, the most important thing is to always maintain faith, passion and the spirit of learning from teachers and teammates," Senior Sergeant Nguyen Trong Long Nhat shared.
