The investment project to build the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line through Hai Phong city has a total length of about 89.88 km (40.96 km in the western part of the city, 48.92 km in the eastern part of the city); passing through 24 communes, wards and special zones, including: Cam Giang, Ke Sat, Mao Dien, Binh Giang, Yet Kieu, Gia Loc, Gia Phuc, Tan Ky, Tu Ky, Dai Son, Chi Minh, Ha Dong, An Quang, Quyet Thang, An Khanh, An Hung, Kien Thuy, Kien Minh, Duong Kinh, Hai An, Dong Hai, Nam Do Son, Kien Hai, Cat Hai special zone.
The total land acquisition area is about 624.13 hectares, the total number of affected households is 6,096 households, the total cost of site clearance is about 9,753 billion VND.
