Units of Dak Lak province (new) including Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association, Dak Lak 2/9 Import-Export One Member Co., Ltd. (Simexco Daklak) and MISS EDE brand have just attended the 15th Busan Coffee Show 2025 held in Busan, Korea.

This is one of the largest coffee events in Korea, gathering hundreds of international coffee brands. Dak Lak province's units brought four specialty coffee booths to directly display and interact with Korean consumers. In particular, Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association introduced the Top 10 specialty Robusta coffee samples from the Vietnam Amazing Cup 2025 competition; Simexco Daklak introduced Fine Robusta green coffee beans from Dak Lak. MISS EDE introduced a complete roasted coffee product called MISS EDE Vietnam Robusta, which has been officially imported and is being distributed on Korea's largest e-commerce platform, Coupang.

COMPLETE EARLY THE PROGRAM TO ELIMINATE TEMPORARY AND DISASTER HOUSES

The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province (old) said that the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has been completed, two months ahead of the time set by the Government and exceeding the target of 236 houses compared to the province's plan. Specifically, by June 30, Lam Dong province (old) had completed the target of building and repairing 2,044 houses; of which, there were 118 houses for people with revolutionary contributions; 1,740 houses for poor and near-poor households from the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; 186 houses from the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas. The above results were achieved thanks to the solidarity and unanimity of the entire political system and the consensus and active response of the people with the spirit of "leaving no one behind" which has become a strong driving force to mobilize social resources, mobilize businesses, philanthropists and people to contribute funds and working days.

MORE THAN 1,000 STUDENTS ATTENDED THE JOB FAIR

Kon Tum College, Quang Ngai Province (new) has just organized a Job Fair with the theme "Career readiness - Firm steps for the future", attracting sponsorship and participation from more than 20 businesses in and outside the province. The fair displayed more than 20 booths with recruitment needs that units registered about 6,000 job positions, more than 1,000 students participated in learning and choosing job positions suitable for their training majors and professions. Students had the opportunity to directly contact employers, access labor recruitment information, accumulate experience for themselves in preparing job applications, answering interviews to apply for suitable job positions.

TRANSPARENT AND LEGAL FOREST PROTECTION CONTRACTING

For many years, the Management Board of Nam Nung Nature Reserve, Lam Dong Province (new) has implemented a policy of contracting forest protection to households in the buffer zone. In the period of 2021-2025, the unit will implement contracts with an area of ​​nearly 3,000 hectares/year for 285 individuals and households in adjacent communes. The amount of forest protection contract that people receive from the source of payment for forest environmental services ranges from two billion to three billion VND per year. On average, each household receives from 7 to 10 million VND/year and is paid directly into a bank account. The implementation of the contract policy in a transparent manner, in accordance with the provisions of law, has helped people become companions of the Management Board of Nam Nung Nature Reserve in the work of forest protection and development.

GIA LAI SUPPORTS 135 COMMUNES AND WARDS WITH GUIDELINES ON LAND PROCEDURES

On the afternoon of June 30, immediately after the Central Government officially announced the Decisions on the establishment of the new Gia Lai province, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of the province issued a document assigning land officers to the Public Administration Centers of 135 communes and wards to provide professional support. Along with sending officers to the grassroots level, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of the new Gia Lai province also requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to proactively respond to the needs for human resources, equipment, and infrastructure to receive documents. Support officers will be present directly at the Public Administration Centers at the commune level to guide people to submit documents in accordance with the correct procedures, support in explaining new legal regulations, and at the same time connect and support by phone for communes and wards that are not qualified to arrange specialized personnel. If the locality has sufficient capacity to implement, it is necessary to notify to adjust the support plan, avoid overlapping and waste of resources. This is a proactive step of Gia Lai province to put the system of commune and ward administrative centers into synchronous and effective operation soon after the province's merger and the implementation of the two-level government model. The time for Gia Lai provincial officials to support localities starts from July 2 to August 30.
