"The Dan Tri newspaper pickleball tournament has great humanitarian significance"

- Competition schedule: women's doubles 4.5, women's doubles Open, men's doubles Open on July 5 and men's doubles 5.5, women's doubles 5.0 and men's doubles 6.5 on July 6.

"This is a very meaningful sporting event. I think that although the tournament has not yet started, it has been successful in the hearts of readers," said Mr. Luan Chien Cong, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Hoa An Commune, Cao Bang Province, before the pickleball tournament "Dan Tri 20 years - Brilliant new day" which will officially start at 8am tomorrow morning (July 5).

The pickleball tournament "Dan Tri 20 years - Bright new day" co-organized by Dan Tri newspaper and Vietnam Pickleball Sports Forum Joint Stock Company (PICKFAIR) will take place at Dai Kim Pickleball Complex (Hoang Mai, Hanoi ), behind Thang Long University on July 5 and 6.

The tournament has a total prize value of up to 500 million VND along with many valuable gifts from sponsors. What is special is that all the fees collected from athletes are used by the organizing committee to support the construction of 5 charity houses in Hoa An commune, Cao Bang province.

Although the tournament has not yet taken place, to help households soon have solid houses before the upcoming storm season, Dan Tri newspaper started construction of the 5 charity houses mentioned above on June 28, witnessed by local authorities and people.

"That's why I highly appreciate the pickleball tournament "Dan Tri 20 years - Bright new day". This is not only one of the activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Dan Tri newspaper, not only a simple sport activity but it also brings great humanitarian meaning.

Through this activity, Dan Tri newspaper not only creates a playground, solidarity and connection between the newspaper, local Party committees and authorities, businesses, intellectual artists and readers in all parts of the country, but also shows that everyone shares the same aspiration, towards ethnic minorities who still have many difficulties, loneliness, and disadvantaged people in society, thereby joining hands and contributing so that no one is left behind," said Mr. Luan Chien Cong.

The new Party Secretary of Hoa An commune also said that the new, spacious houses that have just started construction in the area, built with funding from Dan Tri newspaper and readers nationwide, are a great encouragement and motivation for disadvantaged people to firmly believe in the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies, and to make more efforts to stabilize their lives, focus on socio-economic development, escape poverty and become rich sustainably.
