Donating hundreds of medical equipment to help Lao people overcome difficulties
In Laos, the health system in some areas still faces equipment problems. Many people, especially the elderly, disabled or disadvantaged, have to share assistive devices such as wheelchairs and walkers. Simple health monitoring devices such as blood pressure monitors are also not widely available in some local health facilities.
In Laos, the health system in some areas still has difficulty with basic medical equipment. Many elderly patients, people with disabilities or those in difficult circumstances have to wait and share wheelchairs and walkers. Simple health monitoring devices such as blood pressure monitors are also not widely available in some local health facilities.
Faced with a shortage of equipment at many groundswell levels, the “Healthy Vietnam” campaign, organized by Kingsport, donated 200 pieces of medical equipment including wheelchairs, walkers and blood pressure monitors to people in four provinces: Attapeu, Sekong, Salavan and Champasak. The activity carries the spirit of sharing and connecting, expanding access to healthcare for the elderly and people with disabilities in remote areas.

On June 21, the program organized a direct donation of 120 devices at Champasak Provincial Hospital, one of the typical destinations of the journey. This place gathers many poor patients and elderly people who are receiving long-term treatment in poor conditions.
Sharing at the donation ceremony, the Director of Champasak Hospital shared: “This is not only practical medical support, but also shows timely concerns. These devices will significantly improve the quality of care for local patients.”
Spreading the opportunity for healthy living - No borders
For Kingsport, healthcare is not reserved for anyone, but is a basic right for everyone, regardless of living conditions, nationality or circumstances. Mr. Le Truong Manh - CEO of Kingsport - shared: "We want more and more people to have access to quality healthcare solutions. Therefore, whenever possible, Kingsport is always proactive in sharing and connecting, wherever they are." The expansion to Laos is a clear demonstration of that commitment, spreading the opportunity for healthy living, without borders.

Journey of joining hands for the community
Launched in April, the “Healthy Vietnam” journey aims to donate 50,000 medical devices within a year to people in difficult circumstances. Right from the first stages, the campaign made its mark when accompanying the “North-South Promise” program organized by the Military Radio and Television Center, donating more than 1,000 medical devices to war invalids and people with revolutionary contributions, along with many gift-giving activities in provinces and cities across the country.
Not only does the campaign contribute to raising awareness of home health care through instructions on how to use equipment and spreading basic medical knowledge to the community.

Kingsport spreads the message of healthy living to millions of Vietnamese families through the "Healthy Vietnam" campaign.
The campaign contributes to narrowing the gap in access to health services between urban and rural areas, bringing positive and sustainable changes to the community.
