Tan Linh proactively overcomes the consequences of floods

Due to the impact of heavy rains that have lasted for the past few days, landslides have occurred in many places in Tan Linh commune, especially serious ones in Uc and Ao Sen Lung villages (formerly Tan Lap commune).

Some inter-village roads were seriously damaged, affecting people's lives and travel.

In Uc village, flash floods completely destroyed 50m of concrete road, collapsed the bridge embankment and eroded the road base, completely cutting off traffic.

Ao Sen village had 10m of road collapsed, the slope collapsed with an estimated volume of earth and rock of about 500m³.

Cat, Sao and Xieng 2 villages also recorded many serious landslides and erosion points, posing a high risk of insecurity for people and vehicles.

Faced with that situation, the Party Committee and government of Tan Linh commune implemented the "4 on-site" motto, mobilizing local forces, means, materials and the participation of the people to urgently overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Party cell secretaries and village chiefs have actively encouraged people not to wait or rely on others, but to work together to clear the flow, strengthen the slopes, and transport soil and rocks.

Landslides damaged some forestry areas of the people of Uc village.

The Commune People's Committee has directed specialized departments and offices to coordinate with villages to review damage, promptly report to superiors and develop appropriate support plans.

Tan Linh commune was merged from Minh Chuan, Tan Lap, Phan Thanh, Khai Trung, Tan Linh communes (old Luc Yen district) with a total area of ​​over 147 ^km2 , with over 20 thousand people.
