Gasoline price below 20,000 VND

Gasoline and oil prices both dropped to below 20,000 VND per liter from 3:00 p.m. on July 3, after adjustments by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The price of RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND1,210 to VND19,900 per liter. E5 RON 92 also decreased by VND1,090 to VND19,440. After adjustment, domestic retail gasoline prices returned to the same level as in early June. Similarly, oil products decreased by VND930-1,150 per liter. Compared to 7 days ago, diesel oil decreased by VND940 to VND18,400 per liter. Kerosene and fuel oil have new prices of VND18,130 and VND15,800, respectively. From July 1, value added tax on gasoline will decrease by 2%, from 10% to 8%, according to the Resolution of the National Assembly. The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that domestic gasoline prices in the first 6 months of the year remained lower than the same period in 2024 and previous years. This contributes to reducing input costs for production and business, supporting the goal of controlling inflation.
