Summer international volunteer exchange in Van Tuong commune

(QNgTV) - Last night (July 3), in Van Tuong commune, the Vietnam Youth Union of Quang Ngai province organized an exchange program and met with a group of American volunteer students within the framework of the 2025 Summer International Volunteer Exchange program.

American student volunteers participate in cultural exchange

The atmosphere of the exchange was bustling and exciting with cultural performances of the youth of Vietnam and the United States. The international summer volunteer program is implemented annually in Quang Ngai , by the Vietnam Youth Union in coordination with the Putney Student Travel Organization (USA). Since 2006, 17 American student groups have participated in building 64 houses and schools, with a total support budget of more than 2.1 billion VND. More than 1,000 American volunteer students have set foot in Quang Ngai, bringing with them the spirit of sharing and solidarity.

This year, in Van Tuong commune, 15 American volunteer students will participate in building 03 charity houses, and at the same time, organize cultural and artistic exchange activities with local youth. The program will run from July 1 to July 18, 2025. The program not only helps people in difficult circumstances, but is also an opportunity for youth from both countries to learn about culture and strengthen friendship.
