Phi Hanh Nguyen's journey is a testament to her courage and aspiration to reach out to the world. To reach her Oxford dream and enter the most prestigious university in the world, Hanh Nguyen had to pass a rigorous selection process including academic records, personal essays, recommendation letters and an interview in English.

Hanh Nguyen shared: “It took me a lot of time to complete the essay. Instead of writing an essay about personal achievements, I chose to tell a story about myself, about my experiences, difficulties, motivation to study and my dream of contributing.”

It was the consistency in her personal story, clear academic goals, and practical experiences from community projects that Hanh Nguyen had participated in that helped her stand out among hundreds of international candidates.

Choosing to studyEducation , specializing in Technological and Social Innovation, the female student from the University of Foreign Languages carries with her the aspiration to design applied educational solutions to serve the needs of learners, especially in areas with limited access to knowledge.

According to Hanh Nguyen, for Vietnamese students to reach out to the world, it is not a beautiful profile or brilliant achievements, but sincerity, a consistent personal story and a big enough desire to learn and create value for the community. Dare to dream big dreams and believe in yourself. Scholarships are not only for the best, but for those who are willing to step out of their comfort zone and constantly strive.

In addition to her excellent academic achievements, Phi Hanh Nguyen actively participates in and leads many social activities, from scientific research to volunteer campaigns. Educational projects for disadvantaged children have been implemented, such as the highly appreciated project “Speech-to-Language Conversion System for the Deaf and Speech-Impaired”. This project was implemented by Nguyen and her group of friends with the desire to help the Deaf and Speech-Impaired communicate with those around them more directly and easily.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Long, Principal of the University of Foreign Languages, shared that Phi Hanh Nguyen is one of the school's outstanding students. This is the result of a persistent training process, a serious learning spirit, and a strong will; At the same time, she is a typical model for a generation of students who are not only good at their major and foreign languages, but also brave, socially responsible, community-conscious and have a high spirit of international integration.

"International scholarships not only provide opportunities to access advanced education, but also open doors for students to expand their global academic network, hone their skills, and adapt to a multicultural environment. This is also a launching pad for them to develop their international careers, participate in global educational organizations and businesses, or contribute back to the development of their country, especially in the fields of education, research, diplomacy, and language-related professions," said Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Long.
