News, pepper price forecast tomorrow 7/6/2025
Based on recent pepper price developments, domestic pepper prices continue to be under downward pressure due to oversupply and investor caution remaining strong. Although the world market has shown signs of a slight recovery, it is not enough to push domestic pepper prices up again.
Exports to China have increased sharply, but the impact on domestic prices remains limited. Due to the lack of direct forecast data for July 6, 2025, pepper prices tomorrow are forecast to continue to maintain a downward trend or stabilize at a low level.
Domestic market on July 6, 2025
Domestic pepper prices are expected to continue to decrease slightly or remain stable at a low level of around VND 145,000/kg due to high supply pressure and investors' cautious sentiment has not changed. The Central Highlands and Southeast regions are likely to continue to record a similar slight decrease in prices as on July 5, 2025, with pepper prices fluctuating between VND 145,000 - 146,000/kg.
Investors should closely monitor developments from local purchasing businesses and consider seasonal factors and export fluctuations to make appropriate decisions.
International market on 6/7/2025
In the international market, pepper prices have shown signs of a slight recovery after the previous decline, but the increase is not strong enough to support domestic pepper prices. Pepper exports to major markets, especially China, continue to increase sharply (up 93.9% compared to April 2025), but the impact on domestic prices is still limited due to supply-demand factors and market psychology. Investors should closely monitor international developments to seize opportunities to adjust prices appropriately in the coming time.
