
Gasoline price today June 16, 2025 in domestic market
Today, June 16, 2025, domestic gasoline prices continue to remain stable at a relatively reasonable level. Gasoline products such as RON 95-V, RON 95-III and E5 RON 92-II are priced at VND 20,420/liter, VND 19,960/liter and VND 19,460/liter respectively in zone 1. Meanwhile, prices in zone 2 fluctuate slightly higher, reflecting transportation and distribution costs.
For oil types, the prices of Diesel 0.001SV and 0.05S-II are VND 17,960/liter and VND 17,700/liter (zone 1) respectively, while 2-K kerosene is listed at VND 17,510/liter. This price is consistent with the current supply-demand situation and market fluctuations.
Overall, today’s gasoline prices show stability, creating favorable conditions for domestic production, business and consumption activities. However, consumers still need to closely monitor price adjustments to have effective spending plans.

Gasoline price today June 16, 2025 on the world market
At 10:13 a.m. (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil was at $72.03/barrel, up $0.74/barrel, or 1.04%, from the previous trading session. WTI crude oil closed at $71.29/barrel and opened today's session at $74.77/barrel.
Brent crude oil is at $74.92/barrel, up $0.69/barrel, or 0.92%. Brent crude oil closed at $74.23/barrel and opened today's session at $77.88/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices continue to maintain a strong and high upward trend. Last week, WTI oil increased by 13%, Brent oil increased by 11.67%, marking the second consecutive week of strong increase. Entering the first session of this week, the upward trend of oil prices has not shown any signs of stopping.
Forecast of domestic gasoline price trends in the coming period
According to information from a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to developments in the world petroleum market. It is forecasted that in the upcoming price adjustment period, retail petroleum prices may increase sharply.
Specifically, the price of RON 95-III gasoline may increase by about VND 1,190/liter, E5 RON 92-II gasoline may increase by about VND 1,070/liter, and Diesel oil may increase by about VND 1,030/liter.
