Author Do Quang Tuan Hoang said: “I wrote the book ‘Vất qua nhung ngan may’ with a passion for finding the traditional cultural sources of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, which, although flowing quietly, permeate daily life. It is the ordinary people in the most remote and isolated places who are most passionate and responsible in preserving traditional culture.”
Author Do Quang Tuan Hoang also introduced to Chinese readers the short story collection “The Scent of Ca Mau Forest” by writer Son Nam: “This can be considered an entrance to the Western region of Vietnam, an entrance to the garden culture, the immense river culture of the Mekong Delta, the livelihood habits, the soul, the language... of the people of the West. What I especially like is that writer Son Nam has skillfully combined the writing style of “research in literature, and literature in research”.

Talking about reading and writing, author Do Quang Tuan Hoang believes that reading and playing with books is, first of all, a low-cost hobby with many benefits. Reading books is like mining, we need perseverance, passion and hard work to exploit the gold flakes in each word. It could be a valuable detail of a character that helps you open your mind and change your life; it could be a good way of doing business for you to learn and develop your economy ; sometimes it is simply the poetic hum of words... In short, we can find a lot of joy and benefits from reading books, as long as we consider it a daily meal.
Author Do Quang Tuan Hoang also gave advice to those who want to pursue a writing career, need to have a scientific working method, make good documents, and do multidisciplinary research on the field they want to write about. Next, they must have a lot of practical experience with an open mind and sincere curiosity.

“You should always have a notebook and pen with you so that when you pick up an interesting detail, a unique saying, a strange idea... you can write it down immediately. The most important thing is to write every day, work scientifically and don't wait for inspiration. There is no other way than to absorb life - research-write-edit... It is an endless journey, arduous but full of joy,” he said.
Author Do Quang Tuan Hoang and translator Nguyen Le Chi, representatives of Chibooks, presented the book “Vietnam eats leisurely” to the city representatives and some units of Chongzuo city. The book “Vietnam eats leisurely” has been translated into Chinese by Chibooks, and is expected to be completed in August and published in China.
Previously, from July 3-6, author Do Quang Tuan Hoang interacted with readers of Nanning city at the China-Asean Cultural Book Week 2025, introducing Vietnamese Tea culture and introducing the book "A Thousand Years of Vietnamese Tea" published by Chibooks.
