On the afternoon of July 15, Hanoi City Police held a launching ceremony for the "Digital Education for All" movement throughout the force.

The launching ceremony of the "Digital Education for All" Movement was held to enhance the role and responsibility of Party committees and commanders at all levels in organizing and implementing the Plans of the Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi City Police on implementing the "Digital Education for All" Movement, as a foundation to promote digital transformation in a synchronous, comprehensive and effective manner throughout the force.

At the same time, widely inform and propagate to all officers and soldiers about the activities of the "Digital Education for the People" Movement; create a widespread emulation movement, promote innovative thinking, creativity, build a "digital unit" and a team of "digital officers" of the City Police.

In his speech, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of the City Police Department, affirmed: In the era of strong technological development, digital transformation is no longer a choice, but a mandatory requirement. With that spirit, the Hanoi Police Department has been promoting the implementation of technological solutions, especially the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in management, operation and ensuring social order and safety.

The "Digital Popularization" movement is not simply a training program, but a revolution in thinking and action to popularize digital skills for officers and soldiers. Therefore, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung suggested that units in the city's police force continue to ensure that the "Digital Popularization" movement is deployed comprehensively and widely, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere; actively considering learning and practicing digital skills as a regular task, associated with work, combat, and serving the people.

Units must clearly define tasks, roadmaps, appropriate methods, apply digital technology , artificial intelligence, online learning platforms, promote existing resources to ensure the movement is implemented methodically, flexibly, creatively, and closely following reality; thoroughly grasp the spirit of "Exemplary Party Committee and leadership".

In addition, each officer and soldier needs to be an example in studying, practicing, improving digital skills, proficiently using technology platforms to serve their work; supporting and guiding people, especially the elderly and disadvantaged people, to access online public services. Compete to self-study and practice digital skills to meet work requirements.

Thereby, raising awareness for all leaders, commanders, officers and soldiers about the key role of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation and training and fostering human resources in the cause of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety.

Equipping basic and essential skills and knowledge, helping all officers and soldiers of the City Police to be more confident in handling daily work with digital tools; increasing work productivity, especially drafting reports, synthesizing data, and internal communication by effectively applying artificial intelligence (AI); changing thinking, shifting from an administrative approach to digitizing processes, improving work efficiency...

In addition, organizing training and fostering knowledge on digital skills, digital transformation and artificial intelligence application also contributes to promoting emulation movements in professional work, study and training of officers and soldiers. From there, discovering, praising and replicating effective models and innovative solutions in applying digital technology to serve professional work and administrative reform...

From proficient use of specialized software, application of technology in investigation and case handling, to information gathering and prevention of high-tech crimes, contributing to building a regular, elite and modern Capital Police force.
