This morning, July 3, the price of gold on the international market was traded at 3,348 USD/ounce, down about 10 USD/ounce compared to the previous session.
Gold prices are falling rapidly amid news of tariff negotiations between the US and several countries, including Vietnam, spreading, reducing concerns about global trade tensions.
Since then, gold prices have also lost their role as a safe haven investment channel.
During the trading session last night and early this morning on the international market, there was a time when the gold price skyrocketed to 3,365 USD/ounce but then fell back down immediately afterwards.
Meanwhile, domestic gold prices are going against the world trend. This morning, SJC Gold Company listed the price of SJC gold bars at 118.9 million VND/tael for buying and 120.9 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday.
