Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long signed decisions to rename two universities in Hanoi . created, Hanoi University of Procuracy was renamed Hanoi University of Procuracy. Hanoi University of Textile Industry was renamed Hanoi University of Industry and Commerce. Both are headquartered in Hanoi.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Education and Training, the Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to guide and supervise the renaming process, ensuring transparency, preventing adverse, loss, and waste of finance and assets, and not affecting the normal and continuous operation of the school.

In addition, this process must ensure the legitimate rights and interests of learners, tutors, managers and employees.

Hanoi Procuracy University belongs to the Supreme People's Procuracy , established in 1970 and has had its current name since 2013.

Meanwhile, Hanoi University of Industry is a public university with an application orientation, formerly the School of Garment Technical Training, established in 1967. After many name changes and upgrades, in 2015, the school was upgraded to Hanoi University of Industry.

Rename University of Construction from August 13

On August 13, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam signed Decision No. 1396/QD-TTg on changing the name of the University of Construction to Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.
