Yesterday, July 6, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the answers to the 2025 high school graduation exam subjects with 2 study programs for candidates (2006 general education program and 2018 program).

Answers to the Physics exam for the 2018 generaleducation program, question number 28 (the last question) of the 48 exam codes this year, has 2 correct answers. For example, exam code 201, the correct answers are 8000 and 8002; exam code 202, the answers are 6400 and 6401; exam code 203, the answers are 3200 and 3201; exam code 204, the answers are 4800 and 4801.
Previously, when commenting on the Physics exam, a group of teachers said that part III (short answer multiple choice format) code 204 on radioactivity, if students solve it using base 2, the answer will be 4800, but if they solve it using base 2 and take the question constant (the question states that ln2 = 0.693), the answer will be 4801. It is not known which answer the Ministry of Education and Training will announce. According to the teachers, answer 4800 is correct but will be a disadvantage for students who choose answer 4801.
Talking to reporters, the Physics exam team of the Ministry of Education and Training said that the value of ln2 can be rounded to any significant digit depending on the requirements of the calculation. For example, according to a desktop calculator:

According to some handheld calculators (for example Casio Fx-580VNX), ln2 = 0.6931471806.
When replacing numbers with the given figures in the exam, the simple way is to calculate directly without using a calculator and without using the ln2 value. Then, the rounded corresponding results in the above exam codes are 800, 6400, 3200, 4800.
If a candidate uses a calculator but the value is only 0.693, the rounded values are not proportional, the corresponding results are 8002, 6401, 3201, 4801.
Thus, the results from the calculator are still just rounded and the rounding to which number depends on the calculator being used in the calculation (for example, the 2 figures in the two types of calculators mentioned above in the case of ln2).
According to the test-making team, this is the first year using the number-filling format in objective multiple-choice test questions, to ensure that students have solved the correct solution method (but there may be different numerical values due to the way the numbers are replaced and the calculator is used, so the test answer gives both numerical values as announced).
Therefore, for each test code, candidates who give one of the two results given by the answer will be counted.
This is also the first time, since the implementation of an exam, that the multiple choice Physics answer sheet of the Ministry of Education and Training accepted 2 correct answers for a question.
