According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the evening and night of July 7, the Northwest, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places with rainfall of 15-30mm, locally over 70mm, with the possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind in thunderstorms.
Localized heavy rains are likely to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas. Warning level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, hail: Level 1.

To cope with heavy rain, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment recommends that the People's Committees of affected provinces closely monitor forecasts and warnings of heavy rain, risks of flooding, flash floods, landslides and provide timely and complete information to local authorities and people to proactively prevent; deploy shock forces to inspect and review residential areas along rivers, streams, low-lying areas, at risk of flooding, flash floods, landslides to proactively clear the flow of blocked and obstructed areas; organize the relocation and evacuation of people to safe places...

At sea, currently in the eastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea, the sea area from Lam Dong to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand, there are showers and thunderstorms.
It is forecasted that on the night of July 7 and July 8, the North East Sea and the eastern sea of ​​the central East Sea, the sea from Lam Dong to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand will have showers and thunderstorms. There is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.
In addition, the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ho Chi Minh City has strong southwest winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7-8, waves 2-3m high, rough seas.
All vessels operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
