According to initial information, at the above time, the fire was discovered in the parking lot of a cable car tourism company in the Huong Tich pagoda area (Can Loc commune). After that, the fire engulfed and columns of smoke rose tens of meters high.
In a short period of time, the fire burned down 9 small tourist vehicles and 1 white car of company employees parked in the garage area.
When the incident was discovered, some people came to put out the fire, but because the weather was very hot and the wind was strong, the fire quickly spread, so they were helpless.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of Ha Tinh Province mobilized officers, and specialized vehicles to quickly arrive soldiers at the scene to try to control the fire.
By about 11:30 am the same day, the fire was under control and did not spread to neighboring areas.
The fire did not cause any human casualties but caused extensive property damage. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by authorities.
According to Mr. Le Viet Thang, the parking area (where the fire occurred) belongs to a private enterprise and is located outside the premises of the Huong Tich Pagoda Tourist Area Management Board.
