“After the Ministry of Education and Training issues the revised content, the Publishing House will proceed to revise the textbooks and submit them to the Ministry of Education and Training for approval according to the correct procedure,” said Associate Professor Tung. The principle of revising textbooks must closely follow and update the content on the requirements to be achieved, on knowledge, data, place names, maps, charts, socio-economic information, etc., on the principle of minimizing the revision of textbook content.

“While waiting for textbooks to be revised and updated according to administrative boundaries and two-level authorities, under the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training, teachers and students will continue to use current textbooks. The Ministry of Education and Training will have specific instructions on this matter, with the spirit that schools and teachers will be proactive in adjusting language materials, lesson content, and teaching topics based on the local realities and two-level authorities.
