The newly established defense area of Zone 5-Ayun Pa has a natural area of over 33,200 km2, including 1 ward, 16 communes, and a population of 340,621 people; complex terrain, a high proportion of ethnic minorities, accounting for 76% of the population; people's lives still have many difficulties.
The situation of rural security, religious security, especially the underground activities of the reactionary organization FULRO and "De Ga Protestantism" still has the potential to cause hot spots if not strictly controlled.
From the reality, the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 5-Ayun Pa identified 13 targets and 3 breakthroughs in the 2025-2030 term, including: Focusing on thoroughly grasping the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, resolutions, directives, and orders from higher levels; building a strong Party Committee in terms of politics , ideology, ethics, organization, and cadres; leading the building of a "lean, compact, strong", revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Regional Defense Command, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
Lead and advise the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command and closely coordinate with the Party Committees and People's Committees of communes and wards to promote the combined strength of the entire political system to build a national defense foundation, a national defense posture associated with a solid people's security posture.
Strive to have 100% of communes and wards achieve strong national defense by 2030; select and call citizens to join the army to reach 100% of the target; arrange reserve soldiers into reserve mobilization units to reach 98% or more. Complete 100% of the annual military recruitment and enrollment targets for the basic military sector.
Effectively implement the movement of "Digital Education for the People". Request superiors to ensure that over 90% of military computers are connected to the military data transmission network; 100% of computers connected to the network are monitored for information security; strive to achieve over 90% of document processing; 100% of non-confidential documents are digitally signed.
100% of Party cells under the Party Committee are assessed and classified as having completed their tasks or better; of which 90% or more have completed their tasks well and excellently; 90% or more of cadres and Party members are assessed and classified as having completed their tasks well and excellently...
During the term, the leadership focused on effectively implementing 3 breakthroughs: Improving the quality of training, drills, and combat readiness to meet mission requirements in the new situation; building a regular system, abiding by the law, discipline, ensuring safety, reforming administrative procedures and digital transformation; building a team of cadres with adequate moral qualities, capacity, prestige, high responsibility, and effective work.
The Congress approved the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 5-Ayun Pa for the 2025-2030 term.
