At the ceremony, the Association of War Veterans of Dong Thap province announced the Decision of the Executive Committee of the Association of War Veterans of Dong Thap province to establish the Association of War Veterans at the commune level in Dong Thap province, appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Chairman of the Association of War Veterans for the 2022-2027 term for 11 units including: Association of War Veterans of My An Hung commune, Tan Khanh Trung commune, Lap Vo commune, Lai Vung commune, Hoa Long commune, Phong Hoa commune, Tan Duong commune, Phu Huu commune, Tan Nhuan Dong commune, Tan Phu Trung commune and Sa Dec ward.
For the Sa Dec Ward Veterans Association, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan was appointed as Chairman of the Ward Veterans Association, the Standing Committee has 14 members and the Executive Committee has 49 members.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Thanh Duc - Vice Chairman of the Association of War Veterans of Dong Thap province congratulated the comrades who were appointed to the Standing Committee, Executive Committee and Chairman of the Association. At the same time, he requested that the comrades continue to promote their capacity and intelligence, creating a great solidarity bloc to fulfill the Association's targets; The Association of War Veterans of communes and wards, after being established, should immediately start operating, perfecting the affiliated branches to work with the Party Committee and the government to effectively operate the 2-level government model.
