According to the plan, tonight and early tomorrow morning, the police force will maintain 100% of its personnel on duty to ensure security, order, traffic safety, fire prevention, etc. so that people can enjoy their entertainment with peace of mind.

According to reporters in the city center, police forces including Mobile Police, Criminal Police, and Traffic Police continuously patrol and control areas where people gather to watch fireworks on New Year's Eve, such as Saigon Riverside Park, Nguyen Hue Walking Street, etc.
In addition, civil defense forces and youth volunteers were also reinforced at many checkpoints.
