Kinhtedothi - On the morning of January 10, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan visited and presented Tet gifts to three outstanding policy families in Hoan Kiem district.
Also attending the delegation were representatives of the leaders of the Committees, Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council; leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and leaders of Hoan Kiem district.
The delegation visited and presented gifts to Ms. Le Thi Trinh, born in 1928, a Vietnamese Heroic Mother (residing at 94 Hang Bac, Hang Bac Ward), whose husband and son are both martyrs; Mr. Vu Quoc Kinh, born in 1925, a pre-uprising cadre, a 4/4-class disabled veteran (residing at 6 Ly Dao Thanh, Trang Tien Ward); Mr. Nguyen Anh Kieu, born in 1935, a 4/4-class disabled veteran (residing at 18B Tong Dan, Trang Tien Ward).
Kindly visiting policy families, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan said that this time, Hanoi city plans to spend more than 560 billion VND to give to policy beneficiaries on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. Thereby, showing gratitude to policy families, meritorious people and supporting the care of the poor so that everyone, every family can have Tet.
On behalf of the City leaders, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan wished the families of policy beneficiaries in Hoan Kiem district a warm traditional New Year; the family always healthy, happy, and spiritual support for their children and the locality. At the same time, he also hoped that the war invalids themselves would continue to promote the tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", encourage their children and grandchildren to continue to comply with the policies of the Party and State, and contribute to the overall development of the district and the City.
On this occasion, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan also requested the Party Committees and authorities of Hoan Kiem district to continue to pay attention, support and take care of policy families, helping them improve and enhance their lives.
