The 2025 high school graduation exam results will be officially announced at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, July 16.
This year is the first and only year that the high school graduation exam has both programs, which means there will be 2 independent exam score data.
Of the total 1.16 million candidates, 24,951 candidates took the 2006 generaleducation program. The remaining 1.13 million candidates took the current program.
1.16 million candidates is a record number for the high school graduation exam. Compared to last year, the number of candidates increased by about 95,000.
After the exam scores are available, the Ministry allows candidates to submit appeal applications from July 16 to July 25.
Other candidates register their admission wishes on the system from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28 (unlimited number of wishes).
On July 21, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce the threshold to ensure input quality for teaching and health sectors with a practice license.
From 5:00 p.m. on July 23, training institutions will announce the scores for receiving application documents and equivalent converted admission scores on the system and on the training institutions' websites. From July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5, candidates will pay the admission fee online on the system.
Training institutions will notify candidates who have passed the first round of admission from 5:00 p.m. on August 22. Candidates will confirm their admission online for the first round on the system from 5:00 p.m. on August 30. Training institutions (with remaining quotas) will notify additional admissions from September 1.
Previously, candidates who registered for direct admission and priority admission submitted their applications before 5:00 p.m. on June 30. Candidates who were admitted directly will be notified by training institutions before July 15, and must continue to register their admission wishes on the admission system according to the general schedule.
On July 14, information from the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang city, the grading of the 2025 high school graduation exam has been completed, the exam scores will be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 16, applicable to both candidates in Da Nang city and Quang Nam province (old).

The Da Nang Department of Education and Training plans to complete the preliminary recognition of high school graduation by July 18 at the latest. The printing and delivery of exam result certificates will be done before July 22 so that candidates can receive their temporary graduation certificates at the place where they registered to take the exam.
For candidates who need to re-examine, the application period starts from July 16 to 5:30 p.m. on July 25. Candidates submit their applications directly at the place where they submitted their exam registration documents. Detailed instructions on re-examining will be issued by the Department of Education and Training in the near future.
According to a representative of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, the marking, announcement of results and implementation of the next steps at the Da Nang City Examination Council were carried out seriously, on schedule and ensured maximum benefits for candidates in the entire region.
Regarding university and college admissions in 2025, from July 10 to July 20, the system will accept registrations and issue accounts to independent candidates who have graduated from high school or college but do not have an account.
From July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates can use their accounts to register and adjust their university admission wishes online, with no limit on the number of adjustments. The payment of admission fees is done online from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5.
Before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, all admitted candidates, including those with direct admission, must complete their admission confirmation on the Ministry of Education and Training's system at https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn if they wish to study.
From September 1 to the end of December, training institutions can organize additional recruitment exams if there are still quotas.
