Dien Bien soldiers visit Dien Bien Phu battlefield relic

Việt NamViệt Nam17/04/2024

Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers looked at the new Dien Bien Phu City on their way to the Dien Bien Phu battlefield relic sites. To suit and ensure the health of the former soldiers who are now all over 90 years old, the groups only visited the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum, admired and listened to the explanation of the famous historical mural (panorama); and reviewed history at the De Castries bunker - where our army raised the victory flag on the afternoon of May 7, 1954.

Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers have returned to the old battlefield many times, and some are visiting for the first time. They all agree that the land scarred by bombs and bullets has completely changed, modernized, and developed after 70 years of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. However, historical relics and artifacts are still well preserved and promoted, not betraying the dedication and sacrifice of heroes, martyrs, and soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers.
