Jamie Spears (71 years old) is currently wheelchair-bound and needs constant assistance. He lives in a trailer parked next to a warehouse in Kentwood, Louisiana, USA. This warehouse is used to store Britney's memorabilia.
Recently, Mr. Jamie appeared on the street, when moving from the car to the warehouse, he had to use a wheelchair and needed the help of others. Mr. Jamie had to undergo amputation surgery last November.

His right leg had to be amputated above the knee. According to an anonymous source, Jamie had knee replacement surgery, but post-operative problems arose. Jamie developed a serious infection and doctors were forced to perform amputation.
Before coming to this final solution, Mr. Jamie had to undergo many unsuccessful surgeries. During his old age, Mr. Jamie was constantly in and out of the hospital due to many health problems.
Britney has not commented on her father's health. Anonymous sources say Britney has no intention of making peace with her father after 13 years of his role as her guardian. Britney has recently reconnected with her mother, Lynne Spears.
In 2022, a year after Britney Spears regained control of her personal life, Jamie took to the press to share his feelings.

Jamie also sees himself as the one who saved his daughter's life from collapse and misery. However, during the process of Britney asking to remove the conservatorship that applied to her life, Jamie became the target of attacks from millions of Britney's fans.

Mr. Jamie said that he himself had to go through a dark period when he became the target of attacks from the media and the public.
