Driver's license revoked, still driving sleeper bus carrying dozens of passengers

Although his driver's license had been revoked, driver HTS (living in An Giang province) still drove a sleeper bus carrying 38 passengers on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway.

On July 7, information from Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Traffic Police Team No. 6, Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ) said that the unit had just discovered a driver whose license had been revoked but was still brazenly driving a passenger bus carrying dozens of passengers.

Specifically, at around 8:22 p.m. on July 6, at the Km135 intersection on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway (Vinh Hao commune, Lam Dong province), the working group of Traffic Police Team No. 6 inspected a sleeper bus with license plate 51B-413.26 driven by driver HTS (born in 1973, residing in An Giang province), carrying 38 passengers.

Authorities discovered that the driver of the sleeper bus had his license revoked.

During the inspection, driver S. could not present a driver's license.

Through investigation, Traffic Police Team No. 6 discovered that this driver's license had been revoked due to a previous traffic violation in Quang Ngai province.

Seal the sleeper bus

The authorities proceeded to draw up an administrative violation report against driver S. for not having a driver's license; and a report on the act of handing over the vehicle to an unqualified person to drive the vehicle for the vehicle owner, Minh Duc Taxi Transport and Tourism Cooperative (HCMC). At the same time, they drew up a report to temporarily confiscate the vehicle registration certificate and temporarily seal and detain the above passenger car.
