Maximum support for people in border areas to develop sustainable economy

On July 9, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee visited and worked with people and authorities of Ia Dom border commune (Gia Lai province).

Meeting ethnic minorities in the border area, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan kindly asked about their health and lives, and encouraged them to focus on developing their household economy and improving their lives.

At the Public Administration Service Center, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan inquired about people's satisfaction with the new administrative apparatus. People said that administrative procedures were handled more quickly and effectively.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, spoke at the working session with Ia Dom commune.

Working with the people of Ia Dom commune right at the commune headquarters, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan assessed that this land is fertile, with many conditions for economic development. However, many people are still poor, which is a worrying issue.

The government will continue to recommend that the Central Government issue additional support policies to help people have a “fishing rod” for long-term, sustainable production. At the same time, the province will call on businesses to invest, create jobs, and ensure livelihoods for people. The products produced by people will have a stable place to sell, avoiding the situation of good harvest but low prices.

In addition, the government will invest in infrastructure, help people access digital technology , instructions, and production skills to help people escape poverty. The government will subsidize single-parent households, those without labor, or those with illnesses.
