According to information from the Department of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, Ha Tinh General Hospital, after a period of maintaining a stable blood supply, the hospital's blood reserve currently has less than 200 units left.
Meanwhile, on average, the provincial hospital must use 40-50 units of blood each day to provide emergency care and treatment for patients. With such low blood reserves, in the coming days, if there is no timely blood supply, the hospital will fall into a serious blood shortage.

Previously, in May, the provincial General Hospital also faced a shortage of blood. However, thanks to the call for blood donations and the spirit of voluntary blood donation from many individuals and groups, in a short time, the hospital's blood bank was quickly replenished, meeting the needs of emergency and treatment for patients.
Master Hoang Quoc Anh - Deputy Head of the Department of Hematology - Blood Transfusion said: "To meet the needs of emergency and treatment, the blood bank must always maintain 500 - 600 units. However, recently, many localities have not organized voluntary blood donation campaigns, leading to a decrease in donated blood. In the context of a shortage of blood, while the demand at medical facilities is very urgent, the Provincial General Hospital calls on all people to actively participate in voluntary blood donation to promptly provide emergency and treatment for patients."
Blood donation time is all days of the week. Blood donation location is at the Department of Hematology - Blood Transfusion, 5th floor, Building A1 - Ha Tinh Provincial General Hospital.
