Moc Son Ward was merged from Dong Sang and Moc Son Wards; has an area of 37.88 km², a population of over 20,100 people, including 6 ethnic groups: Kinh, Thai, Muong, Mong, Dao, Tay. With the motto of being close to the people, serving the people as quickly as possible, at the Public Administration Service Center, the ward has arranged 5 officers and civil servants to handle administrative procedures in the following fields: Civil justice status; judicial authentication; social security; agriculture and environment; office, business registration, industry and trade, construction. At the center, administrative procedures, fees, and charges are publicly posted; there are computers, printers, scanners, and photocopiers ready to serve the people.
Sharing about the first working days, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hue , an officer of the Moc Son Ward Public Administration Service Center, said: Implementing the 2-level local government model, we have taken on many completely new tasks from the district level down; the workload is high and the number of people coming to work is also larger. We always strive to learn and research to ensure the fastest and most effective processing of administrative procedures, serving the people and businesses. From July 1 to 4, the Center received 27 dossiers, processed 23 dossiers ahead of schedule, and processed 4 dossiers within the deadline.
Coming to the Public Administration Service Center of Moc Son Ward to do the procedures for issuing copies of household registration extracts and birth certificates, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ha, from residential group 1, shared: Although it is the first days of operating the new model, I find the staff very dedicated, explaining clearly and supporting the people thoughtfully. My administrative procedures were resolved quickly, in the morning, without having to go back and forth many times. I hope that the new model will give more power to the commune level, helping to resolve administrative procedures quickly at the local level instead of having to transfer to another level as before.
Stabilizing the organizational structure, Moc Son ward organized the first meeting of the Party Executive Committee, the People's Council meeting, the People's Committee meeting and the conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward; announced resolutions, completed key leadership personnel and established specialized departments and divisions. Officials and civil servants quickly approached the 2-level government model, kept up with the work, seriously implemented to the plan, not affecting the reception of people and serving people. Specialized departments under the People's Committee of the ward, such as: Office of the People's Council and People's Committee; Economic Department; Department of Culture - Society; Public Administration Service Center were assigned staff in the right positions, with the right professional capacity, ensuring effective service to the people.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong, Chairman of Moc Son Ward People's Committee, affirmed: The ward is determined to improve the effectiveness of state management, improve the quality of service to people and businesses, contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of building a strong 2-level local government model. In the coming time, the ward will continue to upgrade infrastructure and improve the quality of staff, to operate more and more stably, promptly receive work, and serve the people effectively. This is an important step to build a streamlined, professional administrative apparatus, suitable for the integration and innovation process.
With the high sense of responsibility of the staff, civil servants and the proactive participation of the entire grassroots political system, Moc Son ward is effectively operating the 2-level local government model.
