Officers of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (Provincial Police) receive applications for ID cards for citizens. |
According to the Reception and Result Delivery Department of the Social Order Administrative Management Police Department (Provincial Police) on Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Bac Giang Ward, on the morning of July 2, the number of citizens coming to do administrative procedures to receive ID card and electronic identification documents was 3 times higher than a few days before the merger. At other locations, the number of citizens coming to do ID card procedures was sparse.
Major Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Team for Guidance on Registration, Management, Issuance and Management of Identity Cards, Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (Provincial Police) said: “The increase in the number of citizens coming to some points to receive ID card applications compared to normal days is due to the desire to change their ID cards when merging provinces because of fear of affecting the settlement of related administrative procedures. However, we affirm that the merger of provinces does not affect the settlement of citizens' administrative procedures. People are not required to change their ID cards because all information about their residence has been edited in the VNeID electronic account identification application of each person.”
