According to the plan, the time to announce the score distribution will take place from 3:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. this afternoon. Immediately after that, the Ministry of Education and Training will hold a conference to provide information about the exam and analyze the official score distribution of nearly 1.2 million candidates.
Candidates are about to "see" the heat of the benchmark.
Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training announced that it would announce the 2025 high school graduation exam scores at 8 a.m. on July 16. After knowing the scores, candidates can calculate their own graduation scores and prepare for the stage of adjusting their university admission wishes.
Note the formula for calculating graduation scores in 2025: (50% of exam scores + 50% of average scores of school years) + Plus priority and incentive points (if any).
Candidates are recognized as graduates if:
• Take all exams
• No disciplinary action to cancel results
• Each test is worth more than 1 point
• Graduation score of 5 or higher
Important timeline:
• July 16: Announce exam scores, receive appeals
• By July 18: Schools consider recognizing graduation
• July 22: Print and return exam result certificates
• July 25: End of receiving appeal applications
• 3/8: Complete re-evaluation (if any)
This year, more than 1.16 million candidates registered for the exam, an increase of nearly 94,000 compared to last year. Notably, more than 97.7% of candidates studied under the 2018 General Education Program, which applied the graduation exam for the first time after three years of implementation. The rest followed the 2006 program.
The exam will take place on June 26 and 27. Candidates and parents can access the Ministry of Education and Training and the Departments' Information Portal to monitor the score distribution, look up exam scores and understand information on adjusting admission wishes.
