Nearly 1,400 moon cakes destroyed at Khanh Son landfill

Previously, through an administrative inspection of the moon cake production facility owned by DTH (25 years old, residing in Group 15, An Khe Ward), the Economic - Environmental Police Team discovered 1,373 moon cakes of various types without printed labels, ingredients, place of production... according to regulations.

Through investigation, DTH admitted that all the moon cakes were purchased from Hanoi at a price of 40,000 VND/box/4 pieces. DTH then ordered a transport unit to transport the goods to Da Nang City for wholesale to the distributors; these distributors would print, label and retail the products during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Meanwhile, DTH could not present legal documents proving the origin, source, and food safety certification of these products; could not present business registration certificates as prescribed by law.

Thanh Khe District Police determined that these goods did not meet the conditions for circulation on the market. Regarding the violation related to the business of DTH's moon cake shipment, Thanh Khe District Police proposed that Thanh Khe District People's Committee issue an administrative penalty decision.
