Immediately after that, the construction units drilled 39 drills, including 2 drills from the mountainside down and 37 drills inside the tunnel to pump high-pressure concrete, creating stable adhesion for Bai Gio tunnel.

Technicians use mini cameras to perform "ultrasound" inside the landslide site, thereby assessing the level of concrete filling at the landslide site.

By road, it is expected that tomorrow (April 22) all types of vehicles will be allowed to pass through Deo Ca.

Bai Gio Tunnel (in Dai Lanh commune, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province) is about 900m long, built by the French more than 90 years ago, and completed and put into use in 1936.

According to the railway industry, after 1988, the layers of soil and rock on the tunnel's old shell were weathered and fell freely below the rails, paralyzing the North-South railway line.
