Vinh Binh Commune gives gifts to people with disabilities

(ABO) On the morning of July 10, the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Binh commune, Dong Thap province, in coordination with sponsors and philanthropists, organized the giving of 100 gifts to people with disabilities in difficult circumstances in the commune.

 

Each gift worth 500,000 VND includes essential necessities: rice, sugar, cooking oil, MSG, soy sauce and cash. The total value of the gift is 50 million VND, sponsored by Phuoc Hau Pagoda (Can Giuoc District, Long An Province (old), now Tay Ninh Province) mobilizing Buddhists and benefactors to contribute.

On behalf of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Binh commune and all local people who received gifts, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc expressed her gratitude to the benefactors for their deep affection and sharing of meaningful gifts with people in difficult circumstances in the commune. The gifts are a source of spiritual encouragement to help people with disabilities in difficult circumstances gain more determination to rise up in life.
