The Vietnamese stock market has had many brilliant sessions of increase recently. The VN-Index has surpassed the threshold of 1,445 points, reaching a 3-year high and is only about 100 points away from the old peak. Some stocks have also flourished, reaching desirable price ranges, helping investors' assets swell. Looking back at the market over the past half year, the assets of Vietnamese billionaires have also increased rapidly.
The stocks related to the businesses of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong - Chairman of Vingroup Corporation - have all increased sharply recently. VIC is at its highest level in the past 4 years and has increased 2.5 times since the beginning of the year, reaching 101,600 VND/unit. VM (Vinhomes) shares have increased the highest in 3 years, reaching 86,000 VND/unit. Or since the beginning of the year, VRE (Vincom Retail) shares have also increased 1.7 times, to 28,450 VND/unit.
The rise of these codes also pushed billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's assets to 10.9 billion USD, 2.5 times higher than at the beginning of the year, according to the latest update of Forbes. This asset is also the highest ever of the Vingroup chairman.

Another businessman, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang - Chairman of Masan - just returned to Forbes' list of world billionaires at the end of June, when MSN (Masan) shares increased sharply. Previously, at the beginning of this year, he fell off the list.
According to the update, Mr. Quang has a net worth of 1.1 billion USD, ranked 2,867th in the list of the richest people in the world .
Meanwhile, HPG shares of Hoa Phat Group have had a strong correction since the beginning of the year in early April, then increased, conquering the one-year peak. Billionaire Tran Dinh Long - Chairman of Hoa Phat - also reached 2.5 billion USD.
Similarly, TCB (Techcombank) shares have increased by 50% since the beginning of the year, reaching an all-time high. Billionaire Ho Hung Anh's assets - Chairman of Techcombank - have also increased by 41% since the beginning of the year, to 2.4 billion USD.
