According to VNA, Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai informed that the shopping mall at 44 Marywilska is a large retail shopping mall in Poland with about 1,400 stalls, of which about 1/3 are owned by Vietnamese people.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland sent a working group to the scene, and coordinated with the Vietnamese Association in Poland to grasp the situation and promptly deploy citizen protection work. The Vietnamese Embassy in Poland has posted a citizen protection hotline to collect information from overseas Vietnamese, ready to support people working with local authorities, the management board of the commercial center, the fire prevention and fighting force and the insurance company to minimize the consequences of the fire.

In addition, for those who lost their documents in the fire, the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland is ready to provide maximum support to promptly reissue new documents. The Embassy has also received instructions from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to continue working with local authorities to find the best solution to ensure the rights and interests of the people.

Also on the morning of May 12, Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Poland, said that the Vietnamese Association in Poland is actively coordinating with the Embassy to collect information, encourage and visit people whose stalls were damaged in the fire and mobilize initial donations.
