This is not only a playground for professional and amateur writers, but also a forum for families and members of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education to share authentic and touching stories about their journey of learning, overcoming difficulties and improving their knowledge together.
After 10 months of launching, the Organizing Committee has received more than 400 entries from all over the country. Each article is a vivid slice of life, bearing a personal mark, recording the tireless efforts of family members on the journey of lifelong learning.
There are families with three generations studying together, mothers and fathers who overcome difficult circumstances to set an example for their children with a studious spirit; there are young people who use knowledge as a compass to change their lives. Those simple, honest, and emotional stories have motivated the community to work together to build many "learning families"...
The Final Jury based on the rules and quality of the entries, with an objective and impartial spirit, selected the best entries to award 16 prizes including: 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 10 Encouragement Prizes.
Among them, the work "From a cassava-mixed meal in Muong Khen to a family of masters and doctors" by Uong Ngoc won the first prize. Speaking at the award ceremony, Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, assessed that the "Learning Family" writing contest has profound humanistic significance, contributing to building a strong learning society.
