The first leg of the 2024 ASEAN Cup final will take place at 8:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025 at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ), with a capacity of 20,000 spectators.
Unlike the group stage and semi-finals in Viet Tri, tickets for the final match are only sold online on the OneU app. Ticket sales start from 8am to 11:59pm on December 30 or until sold out, whichever comes first.
However, after just over 30 minutes of opening for sale on the OneU app, the organizers had to urgently announce a temporary suspension. The reason was that the number of visitors was too large, causing the system to be interrupted due to overload.
After urgent handling, the ticket sales portal was reopened at 11:34 a.m. on December 30. However, errors continued to occur in the personal information and payment sections. 10 minutes after the sale opened, some people were able to buy tickets, but others received a notice that the tickets were sold out.
And at 12:17, the organizers announced that tickets for the final match at the home stadium of the Vietnamese team had been sold out. “With the heat of the first leg of the 2024 ASEAN Cup final, OneU has recorded tens of millions of visits before the sale opened. Due to the limited capacity of Viet Tri Stadium, all online tickets were sold out just 30 minutes after the re-sale opened,” the OneU application fanpage announced.
Vietnam’s opponent in the final match will only be known tonight (December 30), when the second leg of the semi-final between Thailand and the Philippines ends. In the first leg, the Philippines beat Thailand 2-1.
With what has been shown, especially the excellence of naturalized striker Nguyen Xuan Son, coach Kim Sang Sik and his team have a great advantage to win this year's tournament.
Tickets for the 2024 ASEAN Cup home final of the Vietnamese team have three denominations: 500,000, 700,000 and 1,000,000 VND/ticket. These ticket prices are higher than the tickets for the second leg of the semi-final, which are only 300,000, 500,000 and 600,000 VND.
After successful purchase, tickets are expected to be returned from 8:00 to 17:00 on January 1 and 2, 2025 in Hanoi and Phu Tho.
