Tay Khanh Vinh Commune: Deploying a model of breeding goats

The Center for Technology Transfer and Agricultural Extension of Khanh Hoa province has just implemented the central agricultural extension project "Building a model of breeding goats to create raw material areas associated with eco-tourism" in the period of 2023 - 2025 at households in Hon Du village, Tay Khanh Vinh commune.

The project has a scale of 42 goats (2 foreign male goats, 32 crossbred female goats, 8 Bach Thao female goats), more than 3.3 tons of mixed feed for goats. The State supports 70% of the project's funding for breeds and materials, the rest is contributed by households. In addition, the project also supports training on goat raising techniques for people.

The project's objective is to transfer scientific and technical advances in goat breeding, using native and crossbred goat breeds to improve productivity, quality and product value; opening up new directions in agricultural economic development, increasing income for people.
