On weekends, Khmer people will hold the Rain Bathing Robe Offering Ceremony, also known as the Rains-Entering Ceremony. This is a ritual that has existed since the time of the Buddha. Before monks enter the three-month rainy season retreat, they are allowed to receive the “rain bathing robe” to use during their stay. On the day of the ceremony, Buddhist families gather at the pagoda to offer the monks necessary items. The indispensable offerings are large candles that are lit continuously throughout the three months of the rainy season retreat. Buddhists at the Khmer pagoda prepare all the items to offer to the monks, praying for a peaceful rainy season retreat.
In addition, the Village also organizes the folk song and dance program "Echoes of the Origin" performed by the people who are living their daily lives; introduces and teaches traditional musical instruments of ethnic groups such as Ba Na, Xo Dang, Tay... Visitors can also participate in folk games such as mandarin squares, checkers, bamboo puppets (indoors); stilts, bamboo dancing, swinging, and seesaw (outdoors).
In addition, on weekends there are also homestay tourism programs, culinary experiences, folk games... contributing to introducing the culture, customs and practices of ethnic minorities, enhancing exchanges, attracting tourists to the Cultural and Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
