From July 1, electronic identification will be issued to legal representatives of FDI enterprises who are foreigners in Dong Nai.

(DN) - On June 27, the Bien Hoa Industrial Park Police Station (Dong Nai Provincial Police) has just announced to foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in the province about the implementation of issuing electronic identification for legal representatives of FDI enterprises who are foreigners in Dong Nai from July 1, 2025.

Accordingly, from July 1, 2025, the legal representative of an FDI enterprise who is a foreigner must register for a level 2 electronic identification account. The result after registration is a series of electronic identification codes with a password to log in to the VNeID application that will be sent via the VNeID application, the owner's phone number or email.
After receiving the results, the legal representative of the FDI enterprise will activate the VNeID application to register an organization identification account, administrative procedures, and public administrative services in the electronic environment.

The provincial police also noted that due to the urgency of maintaining the operation of business organizations, from July 1 to 10, 2025, priority will be given to receiving foreigners who are business leaders to grant level 2 identification to the organization.

For the legal representative of an FDI enterprise who is a Vietnamese citizen and already has a level 2 electronic identification account, log in to the VNeID account to register for an organization identification account, administrative procedures, and public administrative services in the electronic environment.

The application for electronic identification includes: passport/valid international travel document; visa or temporary residence card; application for electronic identification account (Form TK01 attached to Decree 69/2024/ND-CP); registered email/phone number of the owner. The location for electronic identification registration is at the Immigration Department, Dong Nai Provincial Police.

Dong Nai currently has 50 countries and territories investing in a total of over 1,700 projects. The total registered investment capital in Dong Nai has reached over 36 billion USD. Therefore, Dong Nai currently has many foreign business representatives living and working in the province who must register for electronic identification according to regulations.
