Foreign Trade University has a 48-year-old female principal

This morning, July 2, Foreign Trade University held an announcement ceremony of the Ministry of Education and Training's decision to recognize Associate Professor Pham Thu Huong as the school's principal for the 2020-2025 term. Associate Professor Pham Thu Huong's predecessor was Associate Professor Bui Anh Tuan, who has just reached the age of retirement from management.

Associate Professor Pham Thu Huong, 48 years old, is a former student majoring in foreign economics at Foreign Trade University (course 34), graduated with a master's degree in economics from Aarhus University (Denmark), and received a doctorate in economics from Foreign Trade University.

Ms. Huong also participated in the training program for young leaders and female leaders in highereducation in Germany.

Before being appointed as the principal, Associate Professor Pham Thu Huong held the position of vice principal, before that she was the head of the training management department and held many other management positions. She is the initiator of the training model associated with the career development of learners at the Foreign Trade University, including programs to improve learners' capacity through 4 groups: "We, The Icebreakers", "We, The Explorers", "We, The Innovators" and "We, The Ambassadors"...
