Giving gifts and cooking for charity at the Provincial Center for Social Protection and Social Work

On July 5, the An Xuan Muoi volunteer group and friends organized a cooking and gift-giving program for people in special circumstances who are being cared for and nurtured at the Hung Yen Province Social Protection and Social Work Center, located in Nguyen Trai Commune. This is the 9th time the group has carried out this meaningful activity.

On this occasion, the group mobilized 33 benefactors, donating a total of over 15 million VND. From that fund, the group prepares lunch for people in special circumstances with 50 kg of vermicelli, 15 kg of ham, meatballs, 7.5 kg of bamboo shoots, 30 kg of watermelon. In addition, the group donated 100 loaves of bread, 34 cartons of fresh milk and sent back 1.5 million VND to the Center to buy additional food for those being cared for at the Center at the appropriate time.

The group's activities not only provide nutritious meals but also spread love, contributing to encourage the less fortunate to rise up in life.
