Also attending the opening ceremony were Lieutenant General Doan Thai Duc, Director of the Department of Search and Rescue (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army), Head of the organizing committee of the sports festival.

The 2025 Army Rescue and Relief Sports Festival will take place from June 23 to 26, divided into 3 stages with 3 competition events: Stage 1: Special obstacle course; Stage 2: Relay and acceleration to the finish line. Stage 3 will be based on the performance of the teams in stages 1 and 2 to determine the competition order.

The sports festival has 14 delegations from military regions, army corps, military branches and arms. The participants are officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers on the official payroll of units under the Ministry of National Defense .

To prepare for this year's sports festival, units have actively organized groundswells sports festivals. Party committees and commanders at all levels have closely directed and commanded the work of selecting forces and organizing training.

Through the sports festival, we aim to evaluate and gain experience in directing, operating and organizing training, contributing to improving the capacity to carry out civil defense tasks in the entire army.

In his speech, Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc requested that Party committees and commanders of agencies and units thoroughly grasp the purpose and meaning of the sports festival; do a good job of propaganda andeducation , build the right motivation, high determination, organizing forces to participate fully, responsibly, achieve quality and practical effectiveness.

The organizing committee and the referee team need to promote the highest sense of responsibility, organize closely, manage scientifically , evaluate objectively, impartially and accurately, and ensure the sports festival takes place absolutely safely and according to plan.

The teams and athletes strictly followed the rules and discipline, competed honestly, unitedly, and determined to achieve the highest results, contributing to creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere throughout the force.

Division 390 (12th Corps) - the host unit and supporting forces secured all aspects of the sports festival took place as planned. After the sports festival, the organizing units drew lessons, promoted the achieved results, continued to improve the quality of training, combat readiness, civil defense and effectively participated in the work of preventing and combating natural disasters, incidents, catastrophes, and search and rescue.
