The political report at the Congress affirmed: During the past term, the GAET Party Committee led and directed the entire unit to successfully complete and exceed the planned targets and goals set out in the Resolution of the 5th Party Congress of the Corporation for the 2020-2025 term.

Of which, total revenue reached 35,604 billion VND, an increase of 10,328 billion VND; budget contribution reached 569 billion VND, an increase of 42 billion VND; profit reached 374 billion VND, an increase of 29 billion VND compared to the previous term. Average income during the term reached 15,040 million VND/person/month - an increase of more than 4.6 million VND/person/month compared to the previous term; working conditions, material and spiritual life of cadres, employees and workers were constantly improved.

The GAET Party Committee has determined the direction and leadership goals for the 2025-2030 term as follows: Focus on leading the restructuring and improving the operational efficiency of agencies and units under the corporation; continue to promote military trade activities and technology transfer; promote and seek new markets and export products produced by the Vietnam Defense Industry; actively participate in and organize domestic and international defense fairs and exhibitions.

At the same time, focus on leading the implementation of tasks assigned by the General Department of Defense Industry and the Ministry of Defense regarding the research, manufacture and production of military vehicles. Maintain traditional markets and seek and develop new markets, key national projects associated with promoting the implementation of professional package services; continue to promote the implementation of survey and mine clearance activities, explosives. Research and develop new industries suitable to the practical conditions of the unit.

Strive for the main targets to be implemented in the next term to have an average growth rate higher than that of the 2020-2025 term, such as: Revenue achieving a growth rate of 8% or higher; profit achieving a growth rate of 8.01% or higher; budget contribution achieving a growth rate of 8.01% or higher; average income achieving a growth rate of 5.02% or higher; completing on schedule, ensuring the quality of 100% of assigned tasks of research, manufacturing, production of military vehicles and defense production.

Colonel Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of GAET Corporation, was elected by the Congress to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of GAET Corporation.
