The sports festival has 46 martial arts clubs, with 583 athletes from units, schools, and the Military Command of provinces and cities. The athletes compete in 2 age groups from 18 to 27 and over 27 to 35.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the sports festival, Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc emphasized: The achievements of the athletes are very valuable, reflecting the true nature of physical training, sports activities in general, and martial arts training movements in particular of agencies, units, and schools throughout the army in recent times, affirming the right development of unarmed combat in the Army.

The results of the Sports Festival clearly demonstrated the awareness and responsibility in leadership, direction and organization of implementation of Party committees and commanders at all levels in training, physical training, sports activities to improve health and spiritual life for soldiers, meeting the requirements and tasks of training, combat readiness and work in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, building the Vietnam People's Army "revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern". The Sports Festival is truly a competition day for cadres, soldiers, professional soldiers, workers and defense officials who love unarmed combat in the Army. The forces participating in the Sports Festival demonstrate the spirit of solidarity, honesty, nobility and determination, with the goal of "Being strong to build and defend the Fatherland".

The sports festival has ended, leaving many good impressions and valuable experiences to help Party committees and commanders at all levels continue to research and propose solutions to improve the level of organization and management of physical training, sports activities in general, and training methods and martial arts practice for soldiers in particular in the coming time.

To continue promoting the results of this sports festival, Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc requested that agencies and units pay attention to organizing a regular, widespread, and quality martial arts training movement from the grassroots level; doing a good job of propaganda andeducation for officers, soldiers, professional soldiers, workers and defense officials to have a correct understanding of the position, role, significance, and effects of training to improve physical strength and health in the specific activities of the Army. Continue to research appropriate solutions to improve the effectiveness of martial arts club activities in a disciplined manner, in accordance with the set principles and purposes.

The Organizing Committee awarded 116 medals of various types to athletes who won first, second and third prizes in each weight category; presented award flags to 12 groups that won first, second and third prizes in the male and female teams according to 2 age groups; presented cups and award flags to 3 groups that won first, second and third prizes for the entire delegation; awarded Certificates of Merit from the Minister of National Defense to 7 groups and 25 individuals, and Certificates of Merit from the Chief of the General Staff to 15 groups and 42 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and ensuring service for the Sports Festival.
